Matetic Winery

Matetic Vineyards stands as a pioneering force in the biodynamic wine movement within South America, boasting 140 hectares of vineyards spread across four estates. Situated in the Rosario Valley, which lies between the coastal valleys of Casablanca and San Antonio, the winery benefits from an optimal climate and soil composition for cultivating a diverse range of grape varieties.

The vineyards, positioned between 13 and 19 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean, experience a maritime climate characterized by cool nights, morning fog, and refreshing coastal breezes in the afternoons. This unique combination of factors allows for the slow ripening of grapes, resulting in fruit with vibrant acidity and concentrated flavors, which are hallmark characteristics of Matetic’s wines.
